The winner was selected after the poll of the Federation members, National Team veterans as well as federal and local media representatives by the results of the players’ performance in 2015-16 season and following National Team campaign. Only one poll participant did not put De Colo to the first place. The Army Man overwhelmingly beat Anadolu Efes guard Thomas Heurtel.
Nando got the memorial award from the Federation President Jean Pierre Siutat during the CSKA preseason camp in Athens but the official ceremony took place today during the Federation Assembly in Dijon.
Alain Gilles is a French National Team legend, who played 159 games for the country from 1962 to 1977. Gilles passed away in 2014, he was 69.
