More minuses than pluses
Despite the fact that J R Holden will almost surely play tomorrow against Real Madrid, CSKA will have to play without two starting forwards.

Ramunas Sikauskas who twisted his ankle last week is not ready to play yet. Today Lithuanian forward participated only in team’s stretching, never going into contact drills with his teammates. Unfortunately, Matjaz Smodis was also absent: on Monday CSKA captain sprained his ankle during the practice. Team’s doctors do not consider the injury as serious but Matjaz will practice individually for 5-7 days. Viktor Khryapa and Terence Morris will probably start against Real.

The team from Madrid arrived to Moscow on Tuesday’s evening with full roster. From Domodedovo airport the team travelled directly to USH CSKA where it practiced on the secondary court (the main court is occupied by the women’s teams playing Euroleague game).

“Real is a very good defensive team so we know that difficult game awaits us. - Ettore Messina said. - But we are playing at home and we will try to use this advantage. I hope J R Holden will help us. I just need to find the right moment to put him on the court.”
