VTB United League playoffs start for our team with home games against BC Astana on May 2 and 4 in best-of-5 series.

“Astana made great run in the and of regular season to jump to the 8th place in the regular season and into playoffs,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “The team is usually ran by Johnson and Brown, Mahalbasic and Andric control the paint, Ponomarev and Kolesnikov allow the frontline to be one of the tallest in the league. The Army Men will miss Vitaly Fridzon (broken finger). The team from Kazakhstan has several injured players – Pat Calathes, Nik Caner-Medley, Luksa Andric and J’Covan Brown may miss the games.
