Mike James and CSKA: together until 2023

Guard Mike James (29 y.o., 185 cm) signed new 3-year contract with our club.

James is one of the best offensive-minded players in the modern European basketball, explosive scorer ready to take the responsibility in difficult moments for the team. Mike’s resume includes appearances for the best EuroLeague teams, NBA experience, team titles in Italy and Greece, Alphonso Ford Trophy for 2018-19 season.

The American player joined the Red-Blues last summer and has become the key player for CSKA during the rebuilding times in past season. He averaged 21.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 0.7 steals, making 42% of three-point shots in 28 EuroLeague games, 17.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, making 44% of three-point shots in 18 VTB United League games. He also made clutch shots in the games against Zalgiris, Efes and Barcelona.
