Our team will play Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar in the semifinals of the BEKO PBL playoffs. Two starting games of best-of-5 series will take place in USH CSKA.
Not taking into consideration minor injuries, army men have 14 players on their roster. Nikita Kurbanov is back after injury, he will practice with the team tonight, but he is questionable for the Game 1.
“The first round just confirmed my words on the level of the Russian League I was saying a number of times”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “All the series finished brought in real fights. Even our last game which we won by 30 was not as easy as you could imagine. Our next opponent is Lokomotiv-Kuban, all three games against them in regular championship weren’t easy. Krasnodar team has 3 individually strong players who are getting good help from other players and team system. This is a semifinal, nobody will care about himself, victory will go to the team which wants it more.”
