The biggest surprise of Russian Superleague so far, Krasnye Krylia Samara flew to Moscow to challenge the leader of the tournament.
CSKA coaches have no choice in completing the roster: Dmitry Sokolov (ankle), Andrey Vorontsevich (knee) and Matjaz Smodis (back) sidelined leave Evgeny Pashutin with only 12 players available.
“Our opponent is a very aggressive team, which uses a lot of pick-n-rolls, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Krylia’s game is based on a play of leaders Flores, Bremer, Biggs with active help of Trushkin and Voronov. Team from Samara has a well-balanced roster, which shows good basketball, and they deserve the place among Superleague leaders. We will try to play focused, disciplined, show good defense and to please our fans with a victory.”
