Staying at home
Our team will stay in Russia for the whole preseason camp. Let us remind that the army team returned from the vacations on August 14, the players and staff were successfully tested for COVID-19, and the training began – with part of the roster available, with the involvement of youth players and in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. Dimitris Itoudis, who has recovered from the coronavirus, is still not in Moscow and plans to join the team at the end of the month after a series of additional tests. Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions that require 14-day isolation for foreigners who enter the territory of Russia, the club was forced to cancel all visits abroad. In particular, this year the Army Team will not play in the traditional Gloria Cup tournament in Belek, Turkey. Instead, the club had to urgently negotiate friendly games with Russian clubs. The Red-Blues will begin a series of friendly games this week. As usual, we start with meetings with SuperLeague teams. CSKA will face more serious tests next week. It should be noted that all preseason game, with the exception of the tournaments in St. Petersburg and Moscow, will be played without spectators. Preseason Schedule: August 26. CSKA – Runa Moscow.
