Our team’s guard Ivan Strebkov will play for Avtodor Saratov on rent in the upcoming season.
Strebkov played on rent for Avtodor from January 2013. At the moment the Saratov side was 10th in Superleague standings but it finished the season with bronze medals. Ivan proved himself as one of the team’s leaders by averaging 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 25.7 minutes of action.
By playing on rent Strebkov will be able to get necessary playing time in the team which traditionally careful about growing the young players. CSKA hopes that experience and skills gained will help Ivan’s chances to play for the army team in future.
