Playing Krylia for the right to play Krylia
Only the final game of BEKO PBL regular championship will decide the place for our team in the final standings. Army men will try to secure its second place in a game with Krasnye Krylia Samara.

The importance of the second position is obvious: it will allow to have the home-court advantage throughout two rounds of playoffs. Besides the potential loss theoretically can drop CSKA down to fourth place which make the team to play the representative of “big four” – Khimki. While the status quo let our team meet Krasnye Krylia in the first round.

Red-blues will have the same roster as in Dynamo game. Nikita Kurbanov (tendinitis in quadriceps muscle of the left thigh) continues his rehabilitation accordingly to the plan. Jamont Gordon is out for 10 day with fracture of the anterior wall of the left frontal sinus.

“It is very important for us to win because it guarantees us the second place”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “The players don’t need additional motivation – they fully understand the team’s task. We remember that our previous game in Moscow was difficult and ended in second overtime period. Samara cannot change its position in the standings, so the opponents will be very dangerous without the load of responsibility on their shoulders.”
