Our team’s road trip continues in Barcelona. The Army Men came to Catalonia today by OrenAir flight.
“It will be another difficult road game in our Top 16 group,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Barcelona is a great team with a full roster, they are leading the Spanish league and playing good basketball recently. The game is very important for both teams, though for different reasons. We expect it to be a fight, a really tough game. We should approach the game as we did in all our previous games – with motivation, concentration and dedication to our game plan.”
CSKA will miss injured Victor Khryapa and Demetris Nichols. Juniors Mikhail Kulagin and Anton Astapkovich stayed home as well.
