The Euroleague quarterfinal series continues with almost no break. CSKA and Caja Laboral will meet in the Game 2 in Moscow on Thursday.
The day between the game had only one practice scheduled. The practice was devoted to weightlifting and shooting. Pops Mensah-Bonsu who missed the previous game because of ankle injury and Dmitry Sokolov who got the similar injury during the game are ready to step on the court. The decision on them will be taken just before the game.
“We played great Game 1, but now we have to forget about it, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Every playoffs game is special. Game 2 will be more difficult and more important, so we have to pay even more attention to details. Our task will be the same – to play good defense, to stop Caja Laboral’s fast game. I expect our opponents to play very aggressive, physical, I think that the game can be even close to ice hockey one. And we have to be ready for that.”
