Our team’s guard Alexander Gavrilov who started the season in Kalev Tallinn will continue his career in MBA Moscow.
The Army Men Junior Project product who is under contract with CSKA Moscow played in just 4 games for Kalev in the VTB League with aggregated 7 minutes, 2 assists and 1 steal. Alexander also took part in 6 Estonian League games (2.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 9.4 minutes) and 2 Estonian Cup games (2.0 points, 0.5 rebounds, 3.9 minutes).
“The atmosphere in Kalev was good, I can say only warm words about the Tallinn club”, Gavrilov said. “Unfortunately, I did not have enough playing time which is extremely important for me as a young basketball player. So we altogether came to decision to continue playing for different team.”
