Our team flew to Vitoria today by Transaero flight to meet Caja Laboral - one of the leaders of the Euroleague Group C. Former TAU changed the main sponsor in midseason and become weaker theoretically but still remains as a very serious opponent – you just have to look at the standings.

The situation with injured players improved for CSKA. Andrey Vorontsevich who damaged his knee against Kalev in Tallinn practiced with the team on Tuesday. Forward was included to the roster and the coaches will decide on the game day to use him or not. Matjaz Smodis (back), Dmitry Sokolov (ankle) and Artem Zabelin who will practice individually were left in Moscow.

“Caja Laboral is a traditionally strong team with well-know coach Ivanovic at the head, - Evgeny Pashutin said. CSKA and the team from Vitoria always had very difficult and interesting games and I think this game will be no different. Their game builds through Splitter and Teletovic though the team has a number of good perimeter players. Caja Laboral likes to play fast, especially at home, so we should try to control the rhythm of the game, play good defense and to focus on rebounds.”
