Demetris Nichols stays with CSKA

Forward Demetris Nichols signed with our team until the end of 2015-16 season.

American player defended CSKA colors last year, he proved to be versatile player able to cover both forward positions, helped the team as tough defender and solid shooter. Demetris played in 60 games (3 starts), averaging 4.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.4 blocked shots in 13.5 minutes. Besides Nichols finished Euroleague season as the best three-point shooter in the competition making 57.5% of his outside shots.

D-Nichols came to the team last year and proved to be a hard-worker, who earns every penny of his contract, every minute on the basketball court. He will play active on every offense, he will defend on every possession. I like his professionalism and dedication, intensity and big desire. Demetris really appreciates the chance to play for the team like CSKA, he is the kind of player we want to be on the team. He tries hard to be competitive every day, not only in the games but in practices as well. I am looking forward to continue working together next season.
