J.R.Holden: The first couple of the games would be hard for us

Russian National Team and all of the fans waits for J.R.Holden debut in the team at European championship in Belgrade. We asked CSKA guard to say some words about his first days in the camp of the National team.

What is your first impression?

- Actually it is cool in the National team. A lot of the guys… We have a chance to talk more than during the season. Of course we are serious about the goals. We have to come in the top five. We want to win but top five is very important. And I can say that in general the living conditions in the National team are comparable to the ones we use to have in CSKA.
The most amazing thing is to see how talented some of the players are. In the regular season I don’t have a chance to see most of guys at the practice and to realize how good they are. Of course I know Victor Khryapa and Sergey Monya, how talented they are, but now I have a chance to learn more about the others.

Is it comfortable for you to practice and to play in summer?

- It is different. I think the first couple of games would be hard. But I think in September I will be ready for playing because we used to start preparations in CSKA at the time.
