‘Big’ changes
Our team’s meeting with UNICS will become not just a game of Russian Superleague leaders. Both clubs will introduce their ‘big’ newcomers on the floor of USH CSKA.

CSKA fans are waiting to see forward-center Pops Mensah-Bonsu who arrived to Moscow on Thursday. British player passed all the necessary medical tests in two day, and all the formalities were finished. Mensah-Bonsu joined the team during evening practice even though he was allowed to rest.

“We will surely use Pops in the game vs UNICS, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin shared his first impressions. He showed from the very beginning that we did not make a mistake in our choice. He is a fast and quick ‘big’ who is more of power forward but still able to play as a center because of his athleticism.”

CSKA reinforcement arrived just in time. Polish center Maciej Lampe was recently added to UNICS balanced roster. Though the club from Kazan did not officially confirm the addition yet, our team’s coaches are preparing to see Lampe on the court in Moscow.
