The New Year day was just a symbolical date for our team. The Army Men did not change their practice schedule while preparing for the game vs BC Astana on Sunday.

“First of all I would like to wish Happy New Year to everyone, to wish health, happiness and joy in 2016,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Second, we spent our holidays on the court – we had practices on 31, 1 and 2, preparing very seriously for the game against Astana. They have very talented offensive team that scores almost 90 points a game this season in VTB League and FIBA Europe Cup combined. So our focus is definitely on improving our defense.”
