Tomorrow our team will play it's first Euroleague regular season game. The first CSKA opponent is Armani Jeans Milano.
Italian team arrived to Moscow without injured young star Luca Vitali. Matjaz Smodis and Andrey Vorontsevich participated in CSKA evening practice but it is uncertain if they will play in Wednesday game.
Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
“That’s an opening game in Euroleague for us and we expect it to be difficult. We know that Milan has a good team and at the moment we are far from being the team which we would like to be in crucial part of the season. But we are getting better as we are starting to play together. We cannot compare this game to the one we played during the preseason because Milan was without Rocca, Vitali, Mordente and Bulleri so they were just the different team”.
