PBC CSKA signed two years contract with guard Anton Ponkrashov. The guard played for Spartak from St.Petersburg last season. The agreement would last for 2 seasons.

- CSKA is the new step in my career, - said the player for our web site. – I hope I would be able to help the best European and Russian club next season.

Anton Ponkrashov started to play basketball at Admiralteiskaya Sports School in St.Petersburg. Later performed for Pulkovo (2001/02), LenVO (2002/03 – 2003/04) and Spartak (2004/05, 2005/06). Last year the player became European champion with Russian young National team those was coached by Evgeny Pashutin. Ponkrashov also was included in the roster of the National team for the European championship in Serbia and Montenegro.

Ponkrashov average stats this season in the Superleague: 9.9 points, 4.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 steals in 32 games.
