Amath M'Baye stays with CSKA!

The French basketball player joined the red-blues last summer, having moved from the Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and established himself as one of the team leaders. He played in all 50 games during the season, starting 41 of them, with averages of 12.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.4 blocks per 26.6 minutes. In February 2024, Amath took part in the All-Star Game of the VTB United League.

Couldn’t be more excited to come back to CSKA and get a chance to defend a title we worked so hard for. My family and I have grown to love the city and the club so much that it was a very easy decision. I’d like to thank Andrei Vatutin and Natasha Furaeva for the trust they have in me. They run a first class organization in every way and it’s an honor for me to be a part of it. I’m also very much looking forward to winning more games playing for Coach Pistiolis!
