The semifinal series of the Russian Championship will begin tomorrow between CSKA and Khimki.
Regardless of CSKA's Anniversary, the Army basketball players had a full working day - two practices. On gameday the team will have a morning shootaround before going off to the hotel. After yesterday's practices, CSKA center Alexei Savrasenko offered his opinion about the upcoming games.
Alexei Savrasenko:
"Khimki is a talented team. They have a lot of young players with a lot of potential. We have to dictate the game and win, and we're capable of doing that. We hope we can play good basketball. I didn't see the first game in the Russian Championship, when the Army team won by one point in the final seconds. I've only heard about it. I can say that tomorrow that won't happen again. The most important thing is just to play our game.
"By the way, I'd like to congratulate the CSKA youth team on their success in the DYUBL Finals."
Khimki players declined a pre-game interview.
