Starting part of the season continues in Moscow, this time at the secondary arena for our team. We are ready to host Enisey Krasnoyarsk...

Second at home at second home

There is no such thing as “perfect”

We have been recovering for a long time, but have not yet reached one hundred percent readiness. Now there is no certainty about the availability of Ivan Ukhov - the defensive specialist has knee problems, so he remains a game-time decision.

As for the entire team, having barely gotten used to the Megasport floor, the red-and-blues returned to the main arena of the Basket Hall. Which, however, is already well-known even to newcomers - they often practiced here and played three preseason games recently.

The Muscovites moved to Krylatskoye on Sunday: there is not much time between games, they need to have time to prepare in a couple of days.

“Enisey is a completely new team with a new coach,” says Emil Rajkovic. - In addition, we know that they have problems with the health of their players, and now it is difficult to predict what roster the Krasnoyarsk team will bring here. However, we are preparing seriously and are setting ourselves the task of taking the next step in progress as a team.”

A matter of principle

The teams have a long history of relationships - after all, Enisey is one of the old-timers of Russian basketball. It is quite natural that the Krasnoyarsk team has long since completed the gestalt of defeating CSKA, so for them such confrontations are no longer so important - except perhaps as part of the usual super-mood for a meeting with the most titled team in the country.

There is practically nothing personal in this confrontation. Yes, Enisey became a kind of springboard for Casper Ware to a new level. But everyone has long perceived Casper as an Army Man. On the other hand, it would have been interesting to watch Vladimir Karpenko against his former teammates, but, alas, the young defender fell ill.
