PRE-GAME BREAKDOWN

Almost two months have passed since the first meeting of the opponents, and during this time the Nizhny Novgorod team managed to add quality to the game and ensured getting into the top six. So the teams will still meet at the group stage of the season.

The Army Team had a practice at the main arena of the Basket Hall in Krylatskoye and went to Nizhny Novgorod from Sheremetyevo. 13 players went on the road. Filipp Gafurov, who works individually, and Semen Antonov, who is recovering from an injury, have remained at home so far.

Nizhny is playing much better recently, they have a full roster now. Since they acquired Rebic they’ve started to play much more organized and aggressive on offense. We expect a tough game and we are getting ready for it.
