CSKA was the best team of the second round of the second stage of Superleague junior teams championship held in Krylatskoe. CSKA reserves won four games losing one with minimum margin.

“We corrected the mistakes done in the previous round, - CSKA-2 head coach Andrey Maltsev said. – All the six days the players spend in very good conditions provided by our club, having all the possibilities to rehabilitate and prepare for the games. When you play five games in such a short term it is very important to stay in good shape and try to surprise the opponent. I think we were able to do both. We played strong in the final part of all the games with the exception of our loss to UNICS, when the guys missed four free throws in the final minute. To our advantage, we had a different leader in every game, so our opponents weren’t able to decide, who is the most dangerous CSKA player.”

CSKA is now placed 3rd in championship standings. The last round of the second stage of the championship will take place in Kazan from April, 20 till April, 25.
