Parma — CSKA, 22 November 2020
Pre-game breakdown
The Army Men went back to Moscow after triumphant EuroLeague double week for just one night. The Red-Blues woke up in their beds and got back to USH CSKA to have practice, to travel to Sheremetyevo – and to Perm. Ivan Ukhov (missed previous game) and Alexander Khomenko (recovered from illness) are back into roster. Johannes Voigtmann and Janis Strelnieks stay in Moscow to continue rehabilitation. The coaches have 13 players at their disposal as Yuri Umrikhin remains with the main team. Parma surprised everyone in the first game in the Army Men gym. The team from Ural went back from 20-point deficit in the last quarter and got the buzzer-beating three-pointer from Maxim Grigoriev to take their first ever win against CSKA. So the champions have enough motivation for the upcoming game.
Word to the coach
Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:We will play our third away game in 6 days, with long trips. So the main goal for us is to have energy and to fight fatigue. I think we are looking good.
