CSKA won in Rostov
CSKA won the 6th game in the Superleague in a row. Lokomotiv was more aggressive and lucky in the start of the game. In the first half CSKA was not a leader even for a minute and even more, the team was down by 9 points (39-30) in the middle of the second period. But after the half time break the situation changed. The Army club won the 3rd quarter 30-11 and the final buzz stopped the game with the score 96-68 in CSKA favor.

Lokomotiv Rostov - CSKA: 68-96

• CSKA made 28 three-point attempts. It is a repeat of team high for CSKA this season in all the official games

• Tomas Van Den Spiegel missed the game because of the slight knee injury

• David Vanterpool scored his 300th point for CSKA this season in all the official games

• JR Holden scored 500th point for CSKA this season in all the official games

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
- We found Lokomotiv very aggressive in the defense in the start of the game. We could not stop their triple penetration in the first half and Langdon received 3 fouls that made in difficult for us to defend against their perimeter players. Matjaz Smodis was the player who helped us to stay close to the rival by the end of the second quarter. After the half time break we rose the intensity of the game and started to play our regular defense. The game of CSKA in the second half was OK.

What is the reason for Tomas Van Den Spiegel absence in the game?

- He got a light injury of the knee in the game against TAU so he is under therapy right now. I hope he would be back by the game on Thursday.
