Astana showed that the team deserves to be one of the leaders of VTB League in fragments of the game but it did not influence the whole picture: CSKA won with big margin again.

Congratulations to our team which played another very good game, demonstrated serious approach. It was especially visible on defense: we forced 27 turnovers – a huge number, product of our aggressiveness. We made 18 steals and just 6 turnovers. Our problem was 10 offensive rebounds by Astana in the first half but we solved it after the halftime and the visitors had just 2 offensive rebounds afterwards. That gave us some extra possessions which we turned to increase of the margin.

Our team was not relaxed, Astana used all the situations, scored easy shots and caught us up. We got the big lead back. Coach trust us so we all shoot confidently.
