Before the game coach Kurtinaitis promised to limit the freedom which coach Itoudis gives to Teodosic. In the end of the day Milos scored 27 points and CSKA beat Khimki by 18.

We played much better than our opponents today and we deserved to win. I’d like to mention that we closed the cycle of 3 games in a week and 4 games in 10 days and we won all 4 games. During this stretch the team played well, players were focused and decisive. We faced good team today, Euroleague level opponent, with great roster and coach. Still we managed to beat them, we executed our plan and I would like to thank my coaching staff for making up this plan as well as for the work they’ve done in previous games.

Milos Teodosic, CSKA guard:

It was tough game, but as you can see after two previous games we are ready to play tough and hard ones. For sure it was our best game until now. I think we can play much better. We have lost few players but still show really nice basketball. This is big Russian derby – there are a lot of emotions and sometimes I react the way I should not react. I’m happy that my team won this important game playing really good basketball.
