The Army football team beat Sporting Lisboa after two games on aggregate and deserved the right to play in the Champions League group stage!
Our team’s management and coaching staff visited the second game in Khimki. “I would like to congratulate our football friends with well-deserved success!” CSKA PBC head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “The team played spectacular game which was enjoyed by our coaching staff. The fans did not stop to believe in victory, continued to support the team and they really were the 12th player on the field. I wish Leonid Slutskiy and his guys all the best in the Champions League group stage! I’d like to add that many fans recognized us on the stadium and we heard a lot of good words and wishes.”
