CSKA won the second game of the Russian Cup quarterfinals against Lokomotiv. In the halfinals of the tournament the Army club would meet the winner of UNIKS-Dynamo St.Petersburg series.

- We did not start the game well. We let Lokomotiv to have too many open shots. But in the end of the 1st quarter we set our defense, took the lead and were ahead for all the playing time left. I rotate all the players on the court. Most everyone received about 20 minutes of the playing time. And we get some good actions from Zakhar Pashutin and Vasily Zavoruev.
