Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to the team on second victory. We need one more to qualify for the Final Four. Regarding the game, we started sloppy on defense but managed to change a lot in the second quarter, we used more matchups, we dominated on rebounds winning the quarter 20-6 on the glass, we started forcing turnovers. VEF deserves a lot of credit, they are well-coached, they have good roster. And they are playing in two tournaments, including the national league. We average above 100 points in the games against them this season, but, believe me, it isn’t easy at all, we have to work a lot to do this. The difference doesn’t matter here, this is playoffs, the essense of basketball. I would like also to thank our fans who came here tonight to support us.
