Kirilenko named VTB League Regular Season MVP

Our team’s forward Andrey Kirilenko is named the MVP of VTB United League regular season. Most valuable player of the regular season was determined due to poll on the League’s web-site, players’ efficiency rate, MVP of the month titles and month’s All-League Team’s participation and VTB United League council experts’ and Sport-Express newspaper opinions.

As a result, Kirilenko scored 18 points leaving Khimki forward Kresimir Loncar and Lietuvos Rytas center Jonas Valanciunas behind.

This season, Kirilenko played in nine games averaging 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 block-shots and 2.0 assists per game. He largely contributed to the successful performance of his team - CSKA took the first place in the group and qualified for the VTB United League Final Four.

VTB United League and Sport-Express newspaper also named the All-League Team comprised of Kirilenko, Loncar, Valanciunas, guards Patrick Beverley (Spartak) and Henry Domercant (UNICS).
