After two games played in October our team’s forward Andrei Kirilenko named the Euroleague Most Valuable Player for past month. CSKA took two convincing wins and Andrei’s average ranking was 30 points.
In the games versus Zalgiris and Brose Baskets Kirilenko averaged 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.5 blocked shots and 0.5 steals. He leads the league in rebounds and blocked shots.
The last CSKA players to receive Player of the Month honors was Victor Khryapa named 2010 March MVP.
