Congratulations to my team. We were the better team and we deserved to win against a very good team and a great crowd. They have an amazing crowd, who pushes the team to another level. It’s always a pleasure coming here and playing in this atmosphere. We knew where Bamberg had some vulnerable spots and we used that. In the second half we contested more of the shots and got our defensive stops. The team is united despite the big absences and we showed that we are strong. I have to thank all my players.

This time I completely agree with the coach Dimitrios Itoudis. You have won, but that effort. And even a good game. Saving De Colo, Hines, Higgins and Kurbanov, the others seemed more like extras. The game on offense was often static, stationary and if it were not for the personal initiatives of De Colo and Higgins I do not know if CSKA would win. And the defense, strength of CSKA, was not a bolt as usual. As a recent case the team played good times alternating with other really boring and tiring. I can understand that they are tired, both for double committment is for frequent travel to the cities where to play, but my gosh, they are young athletes and should recover quickly.
