CSKA won last game of the year

In the last game of the year CSKA played against Spartak Saint Petersburg. The team of Algirdas Bazis who defeat UNICS Kazan earlier could not stop winning series of the hosts who improved to 21-0. Army team get the leadership from the early beginning and did not let quest to catchem them up till the final buzzer.

CSKA - Spartak: 88-73

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

Today we played two absolutely different halfs. Our defense worked well in the first half. But we made too many mistakes and turonver in the third quester and lose it by 16-23. I respect team of Spartak very much. They have good experienced players. But I think that we deserved this victory.

I would like to wish Happy New Year to all our fans. From tomorrow we continue our practices to the next Euroleague game against Panathinaikos.
