As it was supposed, Brose Baskets' scoring in Game 1 did not scare CSKA. Our team secured the win in the first half and dedicated the second one to reserves' trial and pleasing the fans.

CSKA vs. Brose Baskets: 94-74 (+20)

Jonas Kazlauskas, CSKA head coach:
We were very cautious about Brose Baskets after their successful Game 1. Therefore we were focused from the very beginning, played solid defense, executed our game plan. We made just three mistakes in the first half, we had many assists, 25 for the whole game. At the same time the game’s last minutes showed that some of our guys have to catch the leaders. We took big lead and started to invent something sophisticated instead of playing simple.

Chris Fleming, Brose Baskets head coach:
Congratulations to Moscow team, coaches and players. They took well-deserved victory. First of all, CSKA has an excellent team. At the same time we were too timid. To win here you have to show aggressiveness but we didn’t. We allowed the opponent to score some early points and could not catch their rhythm. It was the first time we faced the team of such level this season and we have to learn how to adjust to playing against such a team. I can say also that we are very disappointed.
