CSKA went to Greece

Today Moscow army team by the charter flight from the airport Domodedovo went to Athens where they will play against local Olympiacos.

There are 13 basketball players in the army team delegation. Only center of the team Dragan Tarlac stayed in Moscow. Ivkovic took to Greece playmaker of CSKA junior team Georgiy Tsintsadze.

Today our team is planning to have 2-hour evening practice. Olympiacos still playing is the small arena with 2300 seats. The main arena of the team is still reconstructing for Summer Olympic Games.

Athens has met our team with the good wet weather. Greece guard of our team Theodoros Papaloukas was glad to see local sun which he need so much in Moscow. It is seemed that local fans will not glad to meet Alexey Savrasenko who played in Olympiacos several years ago. Greece team who already lose two games have to win this game to have chances to move to Final Four. So, that’s why the atmosphere on arena will not hospitable for us.
